I was sitting in a bar feeling lonely and sipping my glass of champagne. Then, my cousin, Yetunde, walked up to me with a beautiful smile glowing from her face. I was curious to find out what could have been behind this happy face of hers. She began to tell how perfect and romantic her relationship with Andre was.  "See me sitting there with my ears widely open, trying to picture how mine would have been, only if I had someone". .

      My phone beeped on a Monday morning, I was feeling reluctant to check at first but I eventually did trying to get out of bed. I picked up my phone as usual, to check my WhatsApp messages, guess what I saw? A message from Andre, my cousin's beloved boyfriend, reading, "Hey beautiful, hope you had a swell night" Then, I was like WHY?!!! Beautiful? Me? I began to ask myself, why did he call me beautiful on an early Monday morning? 😲, reading on, he continued, "seeing you last night at Yetunde's birthday party, I couldn't take my eyes off you. Yetunde was all over me last night so I couldn't walk up to tell you. Baby, let's meet at Les-signora,I really need to see you... Text me when you get this".

      OMG!! 😲😲 Is this not Andre?? Yetunde's boyfriend?! My cousin's boyfriend?? Sending me this  message.. Wow! After their so called perfect relationship hmmmm. Indeed, all that glitters is not gold.

   So, what would u have me do now? 🤷

      Never do anything that will make your cousin sees you as a traitor. The guy is not yours. Appreciate the guy for the compliment and let him know straight, you cannot date him.
